LISA MAURO
Creative Director
With over 20 years experience as a professional graphic designer in the New York City and Rochester regions, Lisa has comprehensive experience in graphic design, art direction, illustration and print production.
Her extensive range of print design applications include publication design, packaging, advertising, corporate identity, environmental graphics, special event, trade show, and book jacket design.
Lisa has an MFA in graphic design from RIT and a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design. She is also currently an adjunct professor in the School of Design at RIT.

Photographer
After working for a few years at daily newspapers, Lisa decided to go back to school to get a master's degree in Visual Communications from the NewHouse School at Syracuse University.
Following her degree it was off to New York City, assisting Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Eddie Adams. It was here where Lisa really honed her lighting techniques and learned about the magazine business. Spending two years in Manhattan proved to be worthwhile as when she moved back to her hometown of Rochester, NY and was hired by Gannett as Photo Director of a subdivision of The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
Lisa has served as the lead Photographer for WNY Physician Magazine since its launch in April 2010. |
